Upright Rhombus was established in 2006. We were running an eBay consignment business named Get Rid Of It! and needed a software system to keep track of the items that were in the process of being sold. I have extensive experience in writing database-oriented systems, so I created Get Rid Of It Tracking System (GRITS). The web-based UI followed, and it didn't take long before we were automating every function we could in the name of effeciency, from item intake to eBay postings to scheduling shipments and paying the customer. Later, we decided it would be a good idea if there was a separate company to own GRITS, and so Upright Rhombus was born.
